We released our latest National Real Estate Report this week.

We’ve been publishing this report for two years now. In it we look at 30 metro markets around the country plus the Altos 10-City Composite for a national view.  Prices showed resilience for the first half of the year but have been inching down generally since June.

Here are two charts of the trends in the data over the past year:

Price:l for Single Family properties in ALTOS 10-City Composite

Median National Home Prices as measured by the Altos 10-City Composite. See the National Report for Methodology details. Notice how we’re now several months past the peak of the year.

Zip Region Inventory:l for Single Family properties in ALTOS 10-City Composite

National Average Days on Market for active homes being sold as measured by the Altos 10-City Composite.
