Spring offers hope and optimism every year that the streak is over, replaced by Chicago’s predictable summertime fade. And I’m not talking baseball here. Home prices are down 50% from their 2006-2007 highs with 30% less inventory on the market. Only the beloved Chicago Cubs offer more second half anguish with a keen awareness that more despair is to come.
More disappointing – Chicago homes prices or the Cubs?
