First Look at Home Pricing in 2015

The second week of January is the most important for determining the direction of home prices during the year. We look at the seasonal trough of pricing and the subsequent spike with new listings in the new year.

Here’s a look at single family home prices (Newly Listed Cohort) for the past five years. January 2011 was the absolute trough of the burst bubble. 2015 looks to positive for a fifth year in a row, though not as strongly as the previous four years.
